Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Especially after they lobbied/bribed the ISO committee into approving the broken and closed-source OOXML as if it was an open standard

At first I thought you meant that “the Orange” (i.e. Donald) made the correct decision into ruining the US so much that the Dutch autorithies decided to ditch Office. lol

I’ve stopped drinking Coke and eating and McDonald’s (that’s also good for my health).
I’m also trying to rely less and less on US-based services (including Google)
The next step is getting rid of Visa and MasterCard; I hope the digital euro comes soon.
Your suggestion makes perfect sense. Let’s delve into it –

What a sad waste of food :(

That’s true. Google is so censored you can’t find anything. And on the other hand, dark web search engines let you find things you’d rather not know about

It depends.
Italy has Bancomat cards, Denmark has Dankort, etc. I can totally see the system being integrated with cards that possibly don’t have any MasterCard/Visa integration at all.

I’m Italian and we have something similar do Dankort, called Bancomat. The problem is that Bancomat too is always tied to MasterCard/Visa.

Wero is part of the EPI (European Payments Initiative). It’s going to be a network of all the digital payment apps, so you can use your own app all across Europe.
The problem is that the Italian member is Bancomat, which literally nobody uses (Bancomat is a big company, but they issue debit cards; nobody uses their digital payments service).
In Italy, the most used app is Satispay (which is very similar to Swedish Swish, Danish MobilePay, etc.). So I can’t see this initiative taking traction in Italy at the moment.

We’re calling it Super Money And John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
I don’t like these titles. It’s not “the heaviest rain in 80 years”, it’s “the heaviest rain ever recorded”. There’s a big difference.
The way it’s written implies (incorrectly) that rain like this has happened in the past, which hasn’t.
