Nice try

Sounds fun, but the people in the park may have a different opinion 😅

Playing guitar, riding a bike, reading a book…

But who am a kidding, when I play guitar i often plays chords off the internet to the background music from YouTube. When i ride my bike i listen to podcasts. And when I read a book, i do it on Kindle.

Good, get all of them.

You could never know. A lot of people are not self confident enough To admit they were wrong. Even of they do, they may not tell you.

Extracting productivity from senior engineers is also burning them out faster.

There’s also scheming, but i don’t think either one is a 1 to 1 equivalent.

Key is they term for pitch. I’d make more sense to say pianissimo if you actually want to communicate subtlety. I do get your point about the bass, it just doesn’t make logical sense in my head.

I’m always annoyed by the term lowkey, because in music, low key means lower pitch, and not low in volume. It’s essentially bass, and my brain cannot comprehend how it could mean what it’s supposed to mean.

Ok, i misunderstood the title. I though it meant plunged (from) 30 to 40, not plunged (by) 30 to 40 percent.

With the two numbers, i interpreted that the value has changed from one to the other, not that it decreased by a range of values. It seemed more intuitive to me.

Plunge implies downward movement.

I haven’t. I moved to Lemmy as soon as my reddit app of choice stopped working. Then I deleted my reddit account and all comments.

Now that the app has also shifted to Lemmy, my experience is the same, and actually continuing using reddit would be more of a friction than using Lemmy as I’d have to learn the new interface.

Git tags are just markers. If tags are the only thing that moved you can still access the repo, right? Just no version tags.

Even my lg g watch had 2 days battery.

X1 yoga 3rd gen, so around 2018ish. The stylus and thunderbolt are broken. And the mouse lags. I already wasted a lot of time troubleshooting it. I’ll try again in a few years, maybe it’ll be fixed.

Fedora

They gatekeep windows 11 from older devices, what did they think would happen? I tried Linux on my thinkpad yoga, and the drivers are so shit i had to switch back to windows on it, and no, I’m not throwing away a perfectly good laptop!

By the time you finish your C script, compile it and run, Python developer will already have finished. Speed is relative.

Voting specifically is secret by law. Without the secrecy you can pay people to vote for you and see that they did. You can discriminate people by their voting, thus pressuring people to vote certain way.
